Harry Potter fans in the UK will have an opportunity to join Dumbledore's Army this weekend as Tesco Extra retailers in Peterborough, Newcastle and Watford will be celebrating the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Visitors will be able to pledge their allegiance to Dumbledore's Army and join Harry and his fellow students as they battle the evil Lord Voldemort. Those prepared to face the challenge will be able to sign a giant scroll and have their pictures taken in front of a Dumbledore's Army photo backdrop. Your photo will be added to your official Dumbledore's Army ID card and the best pose will win a Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix prize package.
Visitors to the Peterborough location on Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th from 11AM to 5PM will have the opportunity to see original costumes and wands used by Nymphadora Tonks, Sirius Black, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom in the film.
Those attending the Newcastle location on Saturday July 14th and Sunday, July 15th from 11AM to 5PM will be able to see school uniforms and wands used by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom and Cho Chang.
The Watford location will feature face painting on Saturday, July 14th from 11AM to 5PM and include a special appearance by Katie Leung (Cho Chang) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood). The young actresses appearing in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be signing autographs and greeting fans between 1pm and 3pm.
