Leavesden Studios Reopens
Wed, Feb 11, 2009
After Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double was severely injured while rehearsing an aerial sequence for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in Leavesden studios, the area was temporarily closed while the Health and Safety Executive of England looked into the accident.
The BBC reported over the weekend, however, that the studio had re-opened and Deathly Hallows filming will stay on schedule:
A spokeswoman for the production team said filming on Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows would begin later this month as planned.
“We have not begun filming yet and will not do so for another two weeks. This has always been the case,” she said.
“Filming will commence mid-February and go through to spring 2009.”
David Holmes, the stunt double, is still recovering at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London.
