The People’s Choice Awards nominees were announced yesterday morning, and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince appeared in three major categories.

-Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson were all nominated in the Best On-Screen Team category, in which they’ll go up against Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds from The Proposal, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner from Twilight, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox from Transformers 2, and pretty much the entire cast from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

-Harry Potter as a whole was nominated in the Best Franchise category, in which its competitors include Star Trek, Twilight, Transformers, and X-Men.

-Finally, Half-Blood Prince was nominated in the biggest category, Best Movie, and will face off against Star Trek, The Hangover, The Proposal, and Twilight.

The awards show will be hosted by Queen Latifah and broadcast on January 6th.  Fans can vote here, so go vote and stop the Twilight fans from taking everything!
