At a recent press conference to promote the upcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, star Daniele Radcliffe admitted that none of the cast knows the what the future holds for their characters in the seventh and final book in the series due out July 21st.
"None of us get a preview," says Radcliffe. "I think only J.K. Rowling's husband has recently found out what happens. I don't think anybody else knows."
Radcliffe previously stated that he hopes Harry Potter dies in the final book. Has he changed his mind now that the final book is just a month away? "[Rowling will] come up with something far more interesting or exciting than anything we can ever predict or imagine...I do think it would be fitting in a way [if Harry died], because when you consider the prophecy that was made about him and Voldemort, one of them has to go," revealed Radcliffe. "I think he might, but that's based on absolutely nothing."
As for actress Emma Watson, she hopes her character, Hermione Granger fares better in the finale. "I'm sort of thinking that she's going to make it," says Watson. "I don't know why, but I think she's going to make it. I hope so...I want to see her putting her intellect and her naturally very caring nature to some very worthy cause...generally making the world a better world. Being married to Ron and having beautiful babies."
