A first edition copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (the UK title of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone) sold for $18,000 at a London auction.  The book was one of five-hundred copies that were initially published of the book.  The woman who owned the book had purchased it with tokens she was given as a school prize.  The buyer is being kept anonymous.
