New ‘HBP’ Screenshots from a Japanese Trailer
Tue, Jan 20, 2009
The site pottermania.jp has a bunch of new screenshots from the Japanese trailers of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and while most of them are blurry and all of them block you from being able to download them, here’s a terrific shot of a bridge that’s seen better days:
What you’re seeing is the Death Eater bridge attack that’s only alluded to in the first chapter of Half-Blood Prince (in which Fudge and Scrimgeour presents themselves to the British prime minister). The early word is that it opens the film in order to provide an early action setpiece — always helpful since the book has basically no “action” scenes until the end — and people who’ve seen it say it makes for a great opening.
