The opening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is finally here for us normal folk, but a few lucky souls out there have already gotten to attend the movie at its London and New York City premieres. With those premieres, of course, come a whole lot of video footage and interviews with the cast [...]
It’s July tomorrow, which means the last phase of Warner Bros.’ year-and-a-half long advertising plan for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince goes into effect. That means lots of talk show appearances, preview screenings, and other scheduled events Potter-philes might want to write down.
For example: soon, HBO will start airing a 13-minute Harry Potter and [...]
It’s another week, which means it’s time to post even more posters. Of the five new ones, two of them feature the Ron/Lavender/Hermione love triangle. Let’s hope the entire movie isn’t just Hermione being mad at Ron; I was more looking forward to the Harry/Ginny thing.
Oh, and Luna. I really can’t get enough of Luna. [...]
Warner Bros. has been pummeling us with Half-Blood Prince advertising for basically a full year since it was originally supposed to come out last November. If you’re little fatigued, how about we switch gears and start getting excited about Deathly Hallows instead?
Over forty photos of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson were taken while [...]
The first installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows only recently started filming with returning director David Yates, but already a behind-the-scenes photo has popped up. A new behind-the-scenes featurette for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince popped up online via “Today Australia.” Along with a lot of new footage from the film, it includes interviews with director David Yates, producer David Heyman, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. Check it out…
The best part? Hermione’s delivery of the line: “Excuse [...]

The BBC reported over the weekend, however, that the studio had re-opened and Deathly Hallows filming [...]
The word from Mugglenet is that Regal Cinemas have started airing sneak-peek featurettes for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in their “Regal First Look,” the twenty minute block of ads they play before each screening:
Some of the footage has already been seen in the trailers, but there were several new and/or extended clips including: [...]
Everyone on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows collectively held their breath on Wednesday, January 28th, when David Holmes (pictured left) — Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double — fell from a harness while rehearsing a flying scene and lost the feeling in his hands and feet.
Holmes, 25, is currently in the hospital recovering. [...]
Emma Watson posted an entry on her official website last week that said she’ll be going in for her first test shoots of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) this week:
I am quite excited to be back, actually. I don’t think I have seen Dan since the summer since he left for NY [...]
