Like Robert Pattinson before him, young British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower is franchise-jumping between Twilight and Harry Potter — he plays the Volturi vampire Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and the dark wizard from Dumbledore’s checkered past, Gellert Grindelwald. At a recent press junket for New Moon, he was asked about filming his scenes in [...]

iTunes recently debuted a  full two-minute clip of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and it’s no fluff: we start with Dumbledore and Harry talking at Hogwarts, they apparate to the cave, and Dumbledore stabs himself in the hand.  Really.  It’s cool. It’s all over YouTube, but the embedding has been suspiciously disabled on every video, [...]

The L.A. Times‘ “Hero Complex” blog just started running a series of daily interviews with the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince cast and crew.  First up was Steve Kloves, screenwriter of every Potter movie except Order of the Phoenix. In terms of insights about the new movie, he shares this: What, if anything, can you say [...]

Warner Bros. released four extra behind-the-scenes photos this week, plus a random close up of Hermione. What’s that, you say?  After six trailers, fourteen posters, and a couple of video featurettes, you’re not impressed with behind-the-scenes photos?  Me neither.  Just don’t tell Warner Bros.  It’s exactly a month until Half-Blood Prince comes out, and they’re obviously [...]

A new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince featurette has just been released, and it contains a lot of footage we haven’t seen yet. The focus is on Harry and Dumbledore’s relationship — and as Michael Gambon, the actor portraying Dumbledore, says, “the relationship turns into more of a friendship” this time around, which is [...]

Who knew a certain Lupin-biting werewolf named Fenrir Greyback would make it on one of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’s dozens of posters?  And yet there he is, grinning behind Ron. The other posters feature a design we haven’t exactly seen before, but in general, it’s same-old, same-old.  Release the movie already.

The latest round of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince character posters were released this week.  That means yet another Harry and Dumbledore poster, but the Ginny & Ron and Malfoy & Snape posters are actually really cool.  (With Ginny and Ron in particular, it’s nice to see Quidditch back in the movies.) Check ‘em all [...]

Even More HP6 Character Posters!

There was that set of really dark character posters from earlier this week.  And before that, there was that random character banner, and even before that, there were the Harry and Dumbledore character posters.  Apparently Warner Bros. just wants to keep teasing us with posters of single characters and never give us the actual, final, [...]

Warner Bros. just officially released three new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince posters.
