The reviews have started pouring out for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and you’ll be happy to know they’re almost all positive. As I write this, it’s sitting at a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, with only one rotten review — and that one gave it 3 out of 5 stars, hardly a pan.

Warner Bros. continues to alternate between making Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince look like a super-dark drama and a light and fluffy romantic comedy. This first TV spot is definitely the latter. Dumbledore and Harry having a heart-to-heart about girls, Lavender Brown claiming possession over Ron…it’s all here. Check it out:
The latest round of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince character posters were released this week. That means yet another Harry and Dumbledore poster, but the Ginny & Ron and Malfoy & Snape posters are actually really cool. (With Ginny and Ron in particular, it’s nice to see Quidditch back in the movies.)

The latest in official Half-Blood Prince stills takes us inside the Great Hall. One is of Ginny, the other is of Harry talking with his longtime Quidditch teammate and pal Katie Bell.
Considering how much of a little wuss he really is, I never thought Draco Malfoy could actually look so…intimidating. But he does in the below poster. We also get a clear shot at teenage Tom Riddle, and it’s striking how much they’ve made him look like the eight-year-old counterpart we’ve seen in the trailers.

A new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince banner popped up online featuring the odd combination of Young Riddle, Malfoy, Snape, Harry, and Ginny. It’s unclear whether this will be part of a poster or a banner ad or something else entirely:
